Week two of Photos in the Park was pretty wonderful! Here are a few of your smiling faces below! We are trying to think of interesting things to incorporate into this project. My first thought was moving locations. So maybe next week, we’ll be at the rodeo!

Houston Engagement Photography Spots
…in north Houston! There are a ton of great spots in north Houston for engagement photography. While many flock downtown for the occasion, I would like to kindly suggest spots outside the loop to anyone who desires to incorporate their home sweet home into their {engagement} story. So, here are four great spots! Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens, 22306 Aldine Westfield Rd, Humble, TX 77338 Pros: Greenery everywhere you look and the grounds are meticulously maintained. I did a maternity shoot here and the bokehlicious shots were stunning with solid vegetation. The garden added some great vibes of serenity and it was free to use. We had a wonderful afternoon. Photos in the Park was awesome today! Discovery Green and Hermann Park are great places to meet interesting people who are curious about art and technology. The Jess Test
In this arena I’m a little atypical as a photographer. I won’t outlaw your patterns or your funky footwear choices. I want you to be you. So, let’s do this! But first, about that snazzy dress… does it pass the three part Jess Test? Part One: Does it fit…like can you move in it? A simple, but honest question you must ask yourself.
