C & J’s Wedding
What a sweet wedding! Both the bride and grooms family came from all over to celebrate at the couples home in a small, beautiful ceremony. There is so much love and happiness in this family- it warmed my heart to spend the day with them. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. and many happy days ahead!

She said YES!
Congratulations to Ashley and Nate. Love above all! What an honor to be their photographer for this important moment. Things I really enjoyed about this session: it was a surprise!, I managed to avoid using flash (the moment was preserved, but not altered), she said yes!

Part Two: Is it clean? I’m sure it smells good, what I mean is, is it…

Most of which related to their open, hilarious and kind families. The day began at Hotel Icon where the bride and groom got ready. The nuptials were held under a special Chuppah in the grassy greens under trees at The New Potato in east downtown. After they said I do, they wined and dined in celebration at The Pass and Provisions. And last but not least, the conclusion was a nightcap at Public Services Wine and Whiskey downtown Houston. It was…

Part I/II Engagement Photo DIY: The Gear List
Recently we took our own engagement photos for our wedding website. Before I get started on the how to’s, a few quick disclaimers: A good photographer, no matter what the occasion, is the worth the investment. That said, this DIY requires pricey photo equipment. Luckily, you can rent everything you need (or perhaps the one or two things you do not already have)! That is what this post is about–the gear list! I put two rental lists together: The least expensive recommended equipment. Get the most bang for your buck! What I used. …because in my opinion, nothing compares to the Zeiss and Sony brands (sharp as a tack). If you want the…
